Slim pickings: Rental units in Yakima Valley are hard to come by

YAKIMA, Wash. -- After living with her parents for a few years, Marie Dorsett began last month looking for a place for herself, her fiance and her 3-year-old child.
Dorsett was surprised to see rent in the $800 range for two-bedroom houses in Terrace Heights, where she currently lives.
Dorsett said she paid nearly that much for a three-bedroom house when she was attending Gonzaga University in Spokane.
She did find a few places in the $700 range, but they were outside of the Terrace
