TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Car rental company Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. said Thursday its profit rose 9 percent in the fourth quarter as the travel market continued to improve.
Dollar Thrifty said its net income edged up to $12.5 million from $11.5 million. Because the company has more shares on the market than it did a year ago, its per-share profit fell to 41 cents from 42 cents.
