Rental housing, Mooseheart annexation top issues in Batavia’s 4th Ward race

BATAVIA – The question of whether the city should regulate rental housing to reduce crime and make sure rental units are well-maintained has become an issue in the race for 4th Ward alderman.

Susan Stark, 53, Edward Tousana, 72, and Jamie Saam, 27, are running for the seat being vacated by current 4th Ward Alderman Tom Schmitz, who is not running for re-election in April.
