No rent relief for council tenants (1:43)
Some Christchurch tenants in council housing say they are being
further victimised in the wake of the February 22 earthquake.
The government waived the rent of state house tenants in 32
suburbs for three weeks after the disaster and some council tenants
are now asking why they didn't get the same respite.
Many of the tenants concerned are vulnerable and some were
forced to move out for a period because conditions were so
