A vote Tuesday afternoon in Columbia County puts a new limit on the number of apartments allowed per acre. Commissioners approved an ordinance that would limit the construction of new apartments. All zoning already approved for apartments will remain at 14 units per acre. But if you're thinking about getting into the "apartment" renting business, you're going to have fewer to work with.
